Quality and Environmental Policy Statement

The following Quality and Environmental Policy is approved by the Managing Director and prominently displayed throughout the premises. Where applicable, the policy is communicated to other stakeholders as necessary including the public upon request. The policy is regularly reviewed and amended as needed to ensure continuing applicability. The revised policy is approved by the Managing Director before employees (and others as necessary) are made aware of the changes.

To surpass all of our customers’ expectations through world class manufacturing and continual improvement whilst reducing our impact on the environment; preventing pollution; using materials and non-renewable resources efficiently and maintaining an work environment where people work together with a common goal and share a sense of pride in the company’s success.
To fulfil our quality and environmental Vision and Mission;
  • Communicate this policy to staff, suppliers, sub-contractors and others working on our behalf to ensure they understand their environmental and quality responsibilities and also make it available to other interested parties as requested.
  • Plan, manage and conduct our activities based on risk management and in compliance with the requirements of ISO9001, AS9100 and ISO 14001, applicable health, safety and environmental legislation and other requirements related to our activities and services.
  • Acquire and analyse information and set objectives and targets accordingly to facilitate continual improvement of quality and environmental performance and prevent the occurrence of environmental and quality incidents.
  • Co-operate and maintain good relationships with regulatory authorities and other interested parties and, where appropriate, provide information and assistance regarding environmental and quality matters to interested parties.
  • Cultivate a quality, health, safety and environmentally conscious workforce and endeavour to promote the same with suppliers, subcontractors and others who can affect our activities and reputation.
  • Ensure staff are adequately trained to perform their tasks safely, competently and in accordance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Periodically review and, where necessary, revise this policy to ensure it remains relevant to Weymouth Precision Engineers’ quality and environmental goals and aspirations.
